We work very hard to make sure our patterns go out easy to understand and error free. They are tested by being completed made before publication. HOWEVER, we are human. As hard as we try...we do make a tiny, few mistakes. As soon as we are aware of the mistake, all future books and patterns will be sent out corrected. But some do get out before we catch the mistake. With that said, here are the few corrections we need to make note of:
In the book, Panels and Prints- Page 8- The bottom image may need to be flipped. The four patch should be closest to the middle of the book. Page 9- 4th image on page should be: Four patch in the center should be dark and then light on top row and light then dark on bottom row. Same for 5th image. (We are now correcting this and any new shippings will include the corrected image. This will only apply if you have an early printing of this book.)
In the Pattern- Foliage Page 4: Row 2 in diagram should show: star block, 9 1/2" x 18 1/2", star block, 9 1/2" by 18 1/2" Row 7 in diagram should show: 9 1/2" x 9 1/2", 9 1/2" x 36 1/2", star block
Page 4- Final border should be cut 5 1/2" rather than 2 1/2". (Again, we are now correcting this and any new shippings will include the corrected numbers. This will only apply if you have an early printing of this pattern.)
In the Pattern- Crossroads Page 3: Final Border #4 (46180 16), cut and piece together (2) strips 7 1/2" by width of fabric. Trim this strip to 7 1/2" by 70". Repeat. (All new shippings will include the corrected measurement.)
In the Pattern- Brave Heroic- Page 1 of 2: next to last sentence: Next, sew together (1) green 5 1/2" strip (not dk camo as stated). The following sentence does have this written correctly.
Peaceful- Page 2 of 3: Add this to the bottom of the page- Use the template on the next page to trace moon from tan fabric. (Add 1/4” seam allowance for needle turn applique.) Applique the moon on one of the black 12 1/2” squares.
Strong- Page 2 of 3: Add the 3 words in bold under "Add the Second Border"- From same fabric, cut and piece together.
Stars and Stripes-Page 2 of 2: We designed this quilt with the Outer Border- for the soldier's Boots- to be oriented toward the center of the quilt on the right and left outer border. However, our front cover image does not reflect this. The soldier's boots should be oriented toward the center of the quilt on the left, right (which are shown incorrectly) and top (which is shown correctly). The bottom border is shown correctly.
First 2 sentences of last section should read: From same fabric, cut (2) strips 5 1/2" by wof. Trim this strip to 5 1/2" by 70 1/2". (Insert the bold into this last section.)
